1. Nature of the Platform
Creed Freelance (operated by Creed Consultancy Services) is a connection platform only. We provide a digital environment where freelancers and recruiters/companies can discover each other. We are not a party to any agreement, contract, or transaction between users. We do not act as an employer, staffing agency, recruitment firm, or payment processor in relation to any engagement facilitated through this platform.
2. No Responsibility for Payments or Project Outcomes
Creed Consultancy Services bears absolutely no responsibility for any payments made or received between users, any project outcomes, deliverables, or quality of work, any financial losses, disputes, or claims arising from engagements, any failure by either party to fulfil contractual obligations, or any delays, cancellations, or non-performance. All financial arrangements are strictly between the freelancer and the recruiter/company. Creed Freelance does not hold, process, or guarantee any payments.
3. No Verification of Information
Creed Freelance does not verify, validate, or authenticate any information provided by freelancers or recruiters, including but not limited to: professional qualifications, academic credentials, certifications, work experience, identity documents, company registration details, or references. All information displayed on profiles is self-reported by users. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any profile information.
4. User Responsibility for Due Diligence
Both freelancers and recruiters/companies are solely and entirely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any engagement. This includes: verifying the identity of the other party, confirming professional qualifications and credentials independently, checking references and work history, assessing suitability for the role or project, and agreeing on clear contractual terms before commencing any work. Creed Freelance strongly recommends that all parties use formal written agreements for any engagement.
5. No Liability for Misinformation
Creed Consultancy Services shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from false, misleading, or inaccurate information provided by any user on this platform. Users who provide false information may be removed from the platform at our discretion, but we cannot guarantee the detection of all inaccurate information. Each user accepts full responsibility for the accuracy of their own profile and any representations they make to other users.
6. Ratings and Reviews
The ratings and review system is provided to help users make informed decisions. Reviews represent the personal opinions of individual users and do not constitute endorsements by Creed Consultancy Services. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, defamatory, or in violation of these terms. We do not guarantee the accuracy or fairness of any review.
7. Free Service
The Creed Freelance platform is currently provided free of charge to all users. We reserve the right to introduce fees or premium features in the future, with reasonable notice to existing users. Any future charges will be clearly communicated before they take effect.
8. User Conduct
Users must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information. Users must not use the platform for any illegal purpose. Users must not harass, threaten, or abuse other users. Users must not attempt to circumvent the platform to avoid future fees. Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate removal from the platform.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, design, and branding is the property of Creed Consultancy Services. Users retain ownership of the content they submit to their profiles but grant Creed Freelance a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Creed Consultancy Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the platform.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Baghdad, Iraq.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email where possible.
